I’ve had the luxury of commandeering part of my apartment’s sunroom for an “art studio,” which has plenty of natural light and quickly became my favorite space. It’s currently made up of a Ponderosa glass topped table (which I bought to utilize as a light table, a glass paint palette, and a drafting table), some end tables, and a borrowed easel.
The only thing it’s lacking is storage space. If I could install my own storage system, I would. However, my apartment is a rental and it comes with limitations; i.e., no holes in the walls. Originally, I wanted to get the Cre8ted Space Rolling Cart with Mesh Baskets (review by thecraftingchicks), only to learn later that Michaels no longer sells it (last year’s model, apparently). Any suggestions for something that rolls and is 24″ or shorter to put under the desk?
Something that’s a bit lacking in New York City is fresh air. So, I’ve taken it upon myself to get a few plants. A little bit of nature works wonders on the spirit.
